Canadian Berries was created in our chocolate studio using the same hands-on approach we follow for all our bars. We start with cocoa nibs grown in Peru and Colombia, known for their warm, balanced flavours. Each batch is adjusted by hand to make sure the cocoa’s natural character comes through clearly. It’s a simple process, but it keeps us close to the chocolate and lets its flavour develop the way it should.
This bar is made with 70% dark chocolate and a short list of honest ingredients: organic cocoa nibs, raw organic cane sugar, cocoa butter, and our award-winning Canadian Berries fruit tea. The tea blend includes apple pieces, hibiscus, Saskatoon berries, cranberries, raspberry pieces, orange peels, linden flowers, strawberry and cherry pieces, and natural flavours. We add it during refining, allowing the fruit notes to integrate smoothly into the chocolate instead of sitting on top.
The finished bar has a bright, berry-forward character balanced by the depth of dark chocolate. You’ll notice a gentle tartness from the hibiscus and cranberries, rounded out by softer berry notes from Saskatoon, raspberry, strawberry, and cherry pieces. A light citrus lift from the orange peels adds freshness without overpowering the cocoa. Canadian Berries brings together dark chocolate and real fruit in a clean, thoughtful way—crafted with care and made to be enjoyed piece by piece.
