Home grown right here in Alberta, Canada, our Canadian Berries tea is an award winner. In 2013, it came third at the North American Tea Championships and we are still immensely proud of it.
The key ingredient in our all natural Canadian Berries tea is the Saskatoon berry. Saskatoon berries are prairie grown berries, which are packed with antioxidants and nutritious goodness. While they may resemble blueberries, saskatoon berries actually have twice as much fiber, potassium and iron and four times more magnesium than blueberries. They have been eaten by indigenous Canadians for centuries and we’re still using them in countless recipes today! These delicious, little, prairie grown berries give our Canadian Berries tea a wealth of health benefits.
The unique, juicy flavour of the Saskatoon berries are blended with the sweetness of apple, strawberry, cherry, peach and orange peels, the tart flavours of raspberries and cranberries to create a wonderfully fruity treat. It’s finished off with the delicate floral flavors of hibiscus and linden flowers, which add a light earthy tinge. Overall, you’ll feel like you’re drinking an especially delicious slice of Saskatoon berry pie!
Our Canadian Berries tea should be steeped for five minutes in water that is 100 degrees Celsius (or 212 degrees Fahrenheit) to ensure that the sweet fruity flavours fully bloom.
This tasty, fruit tea is completely caffeine free, making it the perfect drink to unwind with and enjoy just before bed.
Relax with an authentic taste of Canada and discover the wonders of prairie grown, Saskatoon berries.
