Matcha is over 800 years old. During the last decade matcha has become a main stream super-food. Our organic matcha is sourced from a family owned single origin garden near Kyoto, Japan. Vedic Teas supplies only 100% matcha with no additives. We offer a variety of matcha's from everyday grade to the highest grade Nikai Matcha. By using matcha powder 100% of the tea leaf is consumed, with no nutrients such as amino acids lost in the brewing process. The deeper the green colour of matcha, the more delicate taste is produced.

My kids love having green tea Frappe at SB and at almost $10 a pop it adds up. Using the daily matcha turned out better than what we get at SB. Must buy if you enjoy Green tea matcha. Tip, a little spoon goes a very long way. No chalky taste like supermarket blends. Deep, rich green tea flavour without any bitterness.
