At Vedic Teas, chai has long been part of our craft. Over the years we have worked with the familiar rhythm of blending black tea with spices like ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves. That quiet experience naturally found its way into this chocolate, where the same harmony of tea and spice brings depth and warmth to the cacao.
Our chocolate begins with organic cacao nibs that are stone-ground with organic raw cane sugar and cocoa butter to create a smooth 70% dark chocolate. Into this base we blend a lively chai mixture of black tea (CTC), ginger pieces, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, fennel seeds, star anise, coriander, black peppercorns, and a hint of orange peel. As it melts, layers of spice gently unfold alongside the richness of cacao, creating a chocolate meant to be savoured slowly.
